Jesus Is Lord - Distilling the Message.jpeg

I mapped Hirsch’s ideas concerning the Chinese Church’s distillation of the message. I.E. Their radically simple Christology – Jesus is Lord. Click on the image to take a look at it.

What is blogging?

Posted in Technology by jasonsmith on January 31, 2007

For me it is a way to express a unique thing I do – which is gather tons of information. Web 2.0 is about social networking, bookmarking, and interaction. If I see something that interests me and I think you or anyone for that matter should pay attention to it, I hyperlink it and point people in that direction. I might have a lot to say about whatever I’m directing you to, but lately I’ve tried to refrain, and trust you can get there on your own.

Here’s my dilemma. I also want to do some book reviews on this blog. I’ve been trying to figure out how to do the above while also providing lengthier commentary on a book I am reviewing. I think I have decided how to do this. I will upload the review in a word document and post some highlights from the review here. If you are intrigued, you can read further by downloading the document. If not, no big deal.

There you go.

But, how can we?

When you put out an Operating System noone wants to buy and noone can even put on their computer (me and my laptop is a few months old and says Vista Capable on it!)

There is a big gigantic METAPHOR for the church in there somewhere right?

Google Reader

I’ve started using Google Reader as my RSS News Reader. I was using Flock’s built-in capabilities to read RSS, but it is limited (doesn’t alphabetize, etc.) Also, I Flock is a powerful social bookmarking tool, but it is not quite FIREFOX.
